1. March 10,2021 3:30 am I get a call that my son was deceased. No other information.

2. They did not notify me in person but rather thru phone call.

3. We were not able to identify the body. (It’s important to mention, which I didn’t say on your show, but Alex had gotten into trouble with the law. I asked the RRPD if they had taken fingerprints because that was something on file. Detective Robin Carter stated that they didn’t need to because she had arrested him before and knew who he was. That along with the cell phone.

4. A few weeks later Richard Cresap the person who murdered Alex turned himself in.

5. He gave the police an account of what happened, which included shooting Alex 11 times.

6. We learned of this via news outlets. The DA did not notify us. When we called then they specifically told us that it was OUR job to find this information, not their job to notify us.

6. It was reported in the news and during Richards arraignment that his motive was that Alex and Richards mother Rachelle Blake were having sex.

7. Our family found this to be true thru reading Alexs journals and Rachelle contacting me. I recorded a conversation where she confessed to having an inappropriate sexual relationship with Alex. This also was documented in arcs counseling sessions.

8. I sent the recording to the DA. They responded that they wouldn’t listen to it because that could bias them, and I had to go through the proper channels of filing a report with RRPD.

9. I went to RRPD around September 2021 and they interviewed me, my niece, my ex husband. He had Alexs journals, I had the recording. To this day, despite many follow up phone calls, they have yet to file charges against Rachelle Blake.

10. Earlier this week the DA met with my daughter and at the end of almost an hour long conversation they told her of the plea of 15-17 years.

11. On Wednesday of last week the DA contacted other ex husband and notified him of the same plea.

12. That same day I messaged my victims advocate and asked her if the DAs office thought I had the right to be informed, and this goes completely against my constitutional rights as a victim of crime. They still have not contacted me. My victims advocate completely ignored me.

I have many stories from news outlets posted on my Facebook as well. Thank you again so much. ❤️ Abbie Jackson
